This Week In Twitter

In the first installment of This Week in Twitter, I wrote why I do this. This tweet from Lucky Mag Editor in Chief, sums it up quite nicely. Twitter is both where news is reported, and as this week's installment will show- where news starts. The #myNYPD story was huge this week, starting on Twitter and moving to more traditional news outlets including newspapers and television reports.
