My Favorite Scenes: Auctions

I experienced my first auction this week that reminded me of a television show. This wasn't some cheesy college date auction or one of the ones where you bid by writing down your name and price. It was at a benefit dinner- not an auction house- but it came with a real life auctioneer from Christie's Auction House.

I think I've found my hobby for when I'm rich! I so desperately wanted to bid but two scenarios kept coming to mind. Yep, you guessed it: The Cosby Show and the Fresh Prince.







While I was busy keeping my hand down, NY was finally accepting its direct role in the slave market. A monument to the slaves will be placed in lower Manhattan this year.
